Pay range in Sacramento Area
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Base salary (Sales Manager) - ($87,000/yr - $130,000/yr)

Position Summary
This position manages a sales department in an assigned geographic territory. The Sales Manager designs the organizational structure and staffing, develops the sales strategy and customer base, and supervises sales representatives. Additionally, this position assists with establishing individual sales quotas and goals, and providing sales training and support.
Principle Accountabilities
Oversees the sales function. Interviews, hires, trains, plans, assigns, and directs work; motivates, coaches, evaluates, rewards and disciplines employees. Interfaces with Human Resources, and the General Manager regarding employee performance related issues and addresses each situation appropriately. Adheres to the Cardinal Rule of Conduct and holds others accountable to the policy.
Achieves growth and sales targets.
Forecasts expected revenue and profit for existing and new product lines.
Implements sales operational requirements. Reviews and follows up on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Attends management meetings and participates in financial calls.
Qualifications
Position Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated sales and supervisory experience. Other desired qualifications include but are not limited to:
Preferred Education: Master's Degree in a related field.
Preferred Experience: Between 5 and 10 years in construction, engineering, or manufacturing environments.
APICS CPIM certification expected within 18 months of starting – Preferred.
Driver's License – Required.
Bachelor’s degree – Required.
Experience in a precast concrete or building materials environment a plus – Preferred.
Knowledge of budget preparation/administration and contract negotiation skills – Required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word Processor) – Required.
Strong communications skills to include both verbal and written communication – Required.
