Position Summary
The Inside Sales Representative supports customers and sales by providing helpful information, answering questions, producing quotes, promoting products and services, managing orders, and acting as a liaison between outside sales representatives, project managers, and customer accounts
Principle Accountabilities
Answers inbound requests via phone calls, emails, and web leads from customers seeking product quotes, purchases, or other inquiries.
Makes outbound calls to prospective and current customers to follow up and close sales opportunities.
Produces quotations using the Configure Price Quote (CPQ) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs.
Manages accounts and tasks within Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs.
Assists with all walk-in customers and sales calls.
Coordinates order processing with Project Managers, Customer Service Representatives, and Outside Sales team.
Attends internal meetings to exchange product information and coordinate work activities with other departments.
Assists Outside Sales Representatives and Customer Service Representatives with post-sale customer support, submittal information, and order entry.
Position Requirements
Position Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated history of sales support in an industrial environment. Experience in the manufacturing and/or construction industries is helpful. Other candidate attributes include but are not limited to:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the construction industry as a supplier, contractor, or office support function - Preferred
Working knowledge of plans, prints, drawings, and detailed plan specifications per customer requirements – Preferred
2+ years of experience with precast concrete products – Preferred
Drive and eagerness to provide the highest level of customer service
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Familiar with CRM systems and practices
Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
Exceptional problem-solving skills
