Position Summary
The position operates industrial forklifts to push, pull lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in and / or between departments or yard, and delivers finished goods from work areas to yard and/or loads on trailers. Located in Lockeford, CA, the Warehouse Coordinator is primarily responsible for inventory management, shipping and receiving.
Principle Accountabilities
Performs all warehouse activities including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, daily cycle counts, inventory audit, etc.
Ensures data accuracy for parts and inventory. Performs formal audits of inventory, shop orders, and inventory/production costs. Investigates variances.
Maintain adequate supplies of materials to properly store inventory. Ensure the availability of accurate information for receiving of materials and storage of inventory.
Bag and tag, kitting, labeling.
Ensure effective communication within department.
Issue parts as required per document specifications.
Restock any unused parts.
Adhere to all inventory control guidelines.
Completes daily forklift inspection. Advises supervisor of any issues after daily inspection.
Obtains delivery schedule and loads correct products on trailer or boom trucks. Responds to will call requests and loads customer vehicles with appropriate product and/or materials.
Job Qualifications
Position Requirements
One year experience in an inventory, shipping/receiving warehouse related role.
Forklift Experience, preferred.
Ability to read and understand inventory procedures, shipping and receiving procedures.
Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs.
Computer literature, knowledge of accepted inventory and standard purchasing/inventory practices.
