Pay range in Sacramento, CA Region:
Base salary - $75,000.00 - $110,000 Annually
Discretionary Bonus (TBD)
The Outside Sales Representative generates revenue and/or profit margin in assigned industrial accounts, product lines or territories. The selected candidate will develop the customer base for our dry and wet utility product lines. The candidate will be responsible for working with marketing and product management to develop the strategy for how best to facilitate sales of precast concrete for the underground wet and dry utility product market.
This position will cover a territory from Sonoma County to San Joaquin County and will require about 30% travel.
Ensure high post-sales satisfaction facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers.
Establishes account and territory sales plans to meet annual, quarterly, or monthly goals.
Foster and manage relationships with channel partners to facilitate sales growth.
Maintain knowledge of current wet and dry utility product offerings and the specifications of each.
Prepare sales report regarding quotes and sales activity.
Facilitate voice of customer engagements to understand customer wants and needs for product offerings.
Manage contacts and opportunity pipeline using the Company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Participate in entertainment functions with customers, trade shows, and seminars.
The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated history in customer relationship management with an in-depth knowledge of the precast concrete and underground construction industry. Experience in collaboration with product management, marketing, engineering, and manufacturing teams is highly desirable. Other attributes include but are not limited to:
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Precast Concrete or Construction sales.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited university, or equivalent industrial work experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Email, Spreadsheet, Word Processor).
Strong verbal and written communication.
